Oooooo Purchases!

So my lovely boyfriend made these purchase for my birthday :D
unfortunately it isn't for a month and a bit however they arrived and he let me trial some of the colours.

#AMAZING

Oh Those Boots!

In with winter wellies and out with summer sandals.
It's time to switch up our wardrobes :D
With the weather getting colder and the rain dropping by its time to layer up and get snug!

For me I'm all for black boots, as winter draws in and the sun fades out.
I've found that my wardrobe needs a little revamp and student invasion was a perfect opportunity to grab a bargain.

These boots where a snatch from Newlook with 20% off dropping the price down to around £23 from £39.99. The thick heel allows the boot to feel less like a killer heel and more comfortable.

Best way to wear?
For me a nice pair of black fluffy sock fit snug inside the boots, keeping my 'tutsys' warm.

I have a tendency to wear black leggings or some black jeans with these boots.
I don't usually have a set top to match but my new pink winter coat doesn't fail to make an appearance.

Makeup Revolution; Ultimate Eyeshadow Collection

Mix and match.
Shimmers and matts.
This beautiful palette is a new necessity to my makeup collection.

From black to white, pink to purple this perfect pallets pleases all!
144 colours right at your finger tips or makeup brushes rather.
From my experience I've learnt that outfits need the matching eyeshadow and despite desperate attempts to find palettes that give enough variety in colour choice for a budget price..... I haven't always been so successful.

So when I spotted this bad boy in super drug Uk I just had to have it. I found this in a half price sale from £20 to £10 and I just couldn't resist!
I was slightly weary of this product as being a newbie to the makeup revolution products, I wasn't certain the pay off was going to be great.
However for all you makeup gurus, collectors, fanatics. I suggest you buy this pallete if your not one to blow bundles of cash on makeup. Even for £20 this product is well worth the price.
This pallete contains a mixture of matts and shimmers with nudes to neons.

For me using an eye primer and leaving to set is great way to start your eye makeup, if you move on to use a none shimmer base colour such as a white or a nude the second layer of colour should pay off better depending on you product. If your looking at a typical winters outfit with a nude coat and furry hood like this;

I'd take a basic nude in a shade of yellow/golden and blend from the inner corner of your eye out to the centre, moving into a darker shade of gold or a light brown blend into the yellow/golden and then out to the outer edge of your eye, if your going for a nude eye look blend this into a final shade of dark brown, if your looking for a darker look blend this into a black. Like the images below;

The products used for this:
Top corner; Pale matt;cream for corners of the eye.

Central bronze shimmer; for the outer line of the eye.

London studio eye primer
Collection: Big Fake Curves - Mascara

Central matt dark brown; for creases and centre of the eye.

Blog blog blogging

Hiiiii.....
I have to be honest starting a blog again is difficult but I'm doing it and I'm both excited and nervous. I know that by doing this I'm building my own self portfolio and I guess despite the hate, in the long run it will all be worth it.
I know in my self I have the ability to overcome those who cant be anything but mean and I'm glad to say 2015 will be the full kick start to something new.
I can't wait to blog and maybe kick start YouTube again.

This blog has no set theme and the post will vary from daily life to fashion and makeup to random news and purchase.

I hope one day to become a journalist or and aspiring make up artist but lets face it that's a long way of and there is a long way to go before Ill be close to that,  I also understand how its a huge battle to get anywhere in both these industries and it takes skill, determination and time and this is what I'm going to give!
